July 2010: -

Thanks for your concern - I am still here - not much has happened thought!
Wessex Connect has more Dart's for "The Eighties" routes serving South Gloucestershire Council HQ in Yate, see fleet page for details.

April 2010: -

 

New to Wessex for new contracted route 660 in the Nailsea area taken over from North Somerset Coaches is Dart KP54BYX

Based in Keynsham for South Gloucestershire Council offices orientated routes are SN05HDD and V562JBH.

Also at Keynsham are SN05HDE, MV54EEO and DK04SUU all in Eighties livery.

 

Also at Keynsham were V167MVX and T134AST. T134 is an ex-South Gloucestershire vehicle!

March 2010: -

I am still here - it's just that the fleets seem to have calmed down a bit...... for now!

 

January 2010: -

The three extra Levante's required for the 040 are FJ57KGF, FJ57KGG and FJ57KHH formally C056, C057 and C053 in National Express' own fleet.

 

December 2009: -

 

In Patchway for a few days only is SN59AWX. It was vinyled up for a "Turn off Bristol" campaign. I caught up with it in the middle of the vinyls being removed.

 

From January 2010 - South Gloucestershire will be taking over the operation of National Express' 040 service between Bristol and London. Three more tri-axle Levante's are to be delivered and these, with the six currently employed on the 200 will move to the 040.

The current DAF / Van Hool fleet (with YXI235, which is a Volvo) will all be liveried into NX livery and work the 200. Services start on 4th January.

YXI235 and L444SGB have received National Express livery.

October 2009: - 

All of the Bath University vehicles have been re-registered into the A-UOB series.

C146NRR is now in South Glos livery

SN05FLR is now in Patchway for Wessex Connect.

SJ04DVL has been reregistered A5UOB.

Looks as though the two Marshall bodied Darts have seen service. R401XFL definately noted at least twice.

 

September 2009: - 

South Gloucestershire: - 

Acquired for school work is C146NRR; a Volvo Citybus B10M with Northern Counties bodywork.

Wessex Connect: -  

Further to previously in the month, P345OEW and R401XFL are only in Bristol for MOT.

Also in Bristol is KP54BYT, another MPD but is only here for a week.

New on uLInk work are SEVEN Plaxton Centro bodied Volvo B7RLE's.

These are BX58APF, BX58APK, BX58AON, BX58AOU,  BX58AOV, BX58AOW, and BX58AOY

All are in a new variation of uLink livery which the original Wright Eclipse Urbans also carry, as do YJ07JJO and YJ07JRV.

Another ex-Metroline Dart is R139RLY.

 

August 2009: - 

Wessex Connect: - 

Further Darts now in Bristol are V383SVV (Long Dart) and X704UKS (MPD)

South Glos: -

YXI903 (S752XYA) has been sold

T500SGB (T323UCH) has been sold to Beeline, Eastbourne

T118UCH, T215UCH and T463UCH have all been sold to Peake, Swansea

June 2009: - 

Finally captured on camera was Scania Omnicity double decker YN08MOF.

 

May 2009: -

Another Dart acquired by Wessex Connect is KP54BYJ, a Super Pointer Dart from Heathrow.

The Wessex Connect  route U18 which serves Bath University with Bath City Centre competing with First's orange  bendy buses are served with SJ04DVH, SJ04DVK, SJ04DVL and SJ04DVM in a special livery.

Wessex Connect T454HNH has been repainted into "Diamond-esque" black and route branded for new route 20A/20C serving Lower Oldfield Park, Bath Spa University and the CIty Centre. Note the new logo.

3 Plaxton Verde's have been added to the South Gloucestershire fleet; these are to assist with schools work and new route 462 City Centre - Emersons Green to replace First's peak time only X62.

April 2009: - 

YP02AAV and YP02AAX have been re-registered to L300 and L600SGB respectively.

OIL9262 (N857AHP) has been re-registered L400SGB

The original L300, 400 and 600SGB have reverted to T118UCH, T215UCH and T463UCH respectively.
